Mr Zira Maigadi, National Patron Boys’ Brigade, Nigeria pledges support for Daniel Dewi’s education and future military ambition
The 19th Annual National Boys’ Brigade Convention, EYN Fellowship has opened with senior church leaders and delegates in attendance, including the EYN President, Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, PhD.
The convention, was declared Opened on Tuesday, August 18, at the EYN Comprehensive Secondary School, Kwarhi, Mararaba Mubi Hong LGA, by the EYN Vice President, Rev. Nuhu Mutah Abba, in company of his Wife Mrs. Rhoda Nuhu, Administrative Secretary, Rev. Amb. Timta L. Musa; Rev. Ibrahim Hurgwa Guest Preacher, EYN directors, Headquarters staff and other guests.
One of the major highlights was the recognition of Daniel Dewi, from LCC Golantabal No. 1, DCC Golantabal as the youngest boy in the Camp.
Mr. Zira Maigadi, the Review Officer of the convention and National Patron of Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, awarded Daniel a scholarship during the ceremony.
Mr Maigadi also announced that he had adopted the young boy and pledged to support his development and education.
He said he would also do everything possible to support Daniel if he decides to pursue a career in the Nigerian Army in the future.
The gesture was widely seen as an encouragement to the younger members of the Boy Brigade and a demonstration of the importance of investing in the next generation.
The annual convention brings together members and leaders of the EYN Boy Brigade for spiritual development, discipline, leadership training, fellowship and service.
The convention is expected to feature a series of activities aimed at strengthening the ministry and encouraging young people to remain committed to Christian values and responsible citizenship.
It’s a great initiative for bringing peace building training for both religions faith in other to bring peace and triangulity among the people of Adamawa state and Nigeria as a whole. may God Almighty bless Nigerian
