Recurring Attacks Rock Chibok Local Government as Boko Haram Strikes Mbambatsu and Ngadarma

Residents of Chibok Local Government Area in Borno State have once again come under attack following a fresh invasion by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in Mbambatsu and Ngadarma villages, both located in DCC Mbalala.

According to local sources, the attackers stormed the communities around 6:00 pm yesterday, unleashing violence that left at least seven people dead. Six persons were reportedly killed in Mbambatsu, while one person lost his life in Ngadarma.

The insurgents also set several houses ablaze, killed domestic animals, and destroyed properties, including facilities belonging to LCB Mbambatsu. The attack has forced many residents into fear and uncertainty as communities continue to suffer repeated assaults in the Chibok axis.

Community members lamented the recurring insecurity in the area and called on security agencies and government authorities to intensify efforts to protect lives and property.

The latest incident adds to the growing list of attacks that have continued to affect communities in Chibok Local Government and other parts of southern Borno State.

Residents and concerned citizens have continued to pray for lasting peace, stability, and security across the region and the country at large.
