The Adamawa State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ishaya John Ndimari, has expressed satisfaction with the large turnout and strong spiritual atmosphere at the 2026 Annual Ministers’ Conference of EYN – Church of the Brethren in Nigeria.

Speaking during the gathering held under the leadership of the EYN President, Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, PhD, Dr. Ndimari noted the evident hunger among participants for the Word of God, describing the conference as one that consistently earns the respect and recognition of government authorities.

“I am happy to see the way the program has been conducted under the leadership of Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, PhD, President of EYN,” he said. “This is a gathering that the government honors and respects at all times.”

The Commissioner assured participants that he would convey their goodwill and support to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, noting that the state government appreciates the church’s contributions to peace, unity, and good governance.

Dr. Ndimari added that the continued support and prayers from the church community would further encourage the government to strengthen its partnership with faith-based organizations and expand support for their activities.

He also commended Governor Fintiri’s efforts in maintaining security and fostering cooperation across the state, stating that the peaceful conduct of such a large gathering reflects citizens’ confidence in the government.

“The people are happy and relaxed because they know they have a government that is protecting and supporting them,” he said. “They are grateful for the Governor’s efforts and continue to support him for better governance.”
