DCC Chibok Celebrates Twin LCC Autonomy
November 9, 2025, DCC Chibok Celebrates Twin LCC Autonomy of EYN LCB Mife B Under EYN LCC Kuburmbula and LCB Chibok N0 3 under EYN LCC No 2 Chibok.
EYN LCB Mife B, established in 1974, and LCB Chibok No. 3, founded in 2022, officially received their autonomy during a ceremony held at EYN LCC No. 2 Chibok, under DCC Chibok.
The event was officiated by the EYN Vice President, Rev. Nuhu M. Abba, who was accompanied by a high-powered delegation including Mrs. Rhoda Nuhu, wife of the Vice President; Rev. Prof. Dauda A. Gavva, Provost of Kulp Theological Seminary, Kwarhi; Bro. Ayuba Usman Balami, EYN Director of Finance and Economic Development; and Bro. Ibrahim Samuel, Secretary, EYN Headquarters Registry.

In his address, Rev. Nuhu M. Abba encouraged the congregation, drawing inspiration from Psalm 23. He reminded members that “there is no division in the body of Christ; therefore, we are one.”
The Vice President expressed gratitude to God for His guidance and protection despite the nation’s challenges, declaring, “Glory be to God for His faithfulness in our nation, Nigeria, despite the hardship we face.”
He further urged the congregation to be mindful of their words and actions wherever they find themselves, stressing the importance of unity in all endeavors done to the glory of God.
Touching on marriage, Rev. Abba advised couples and singles alike to focus on God’s will rather than material possessions, saying, “Marriage is not all about material things, but about God’s will.”
He appreciated all EYN workers serving in the Chibok axis, declaring God’s blessings upon them and urging them to continually depend on God in all things.

Delivering the sermon, Rev. Prof. Dauda A. Gavva preached from Matthew 16:16–19 on the theme “Division in the Church.”
He emphasized that “division is not of the children of God; therefore, it has no place in the Church.”

Prof. Gavva called on all members of the EYN family to live peacefully and in unity, noting that “a Church can only grow when it eliminates division.” He added, “If a Church is established on Jesus, the solid rock, that Church will stand and grow.”
He urged Christians to live godly lives, warning that “anyone who causes confusion and division in the Church is not of God.”
To the newly established LCCs, Prof. Gavva challenged them to emulate the character of Jesus Christ and ensure that all their activities glorify God, concluding with the reminder that “there is no division in the body of Christ.”

The autonomy celebration was marked with joy, worship, and thanksgiving as the congregations rejoiced over the milestone in their Church growth and development.
