Borno State  Government meets with EYN Leadership- MBURSA JINATU

Maiduguri, Borno State – The President of the EYN- Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, Rev. Daniel Y.C Mbaya, PhD, with the members of the EYN National Standing Committee and the EYN Legal Adviser, met with the Deputy Governor of Borno State, His Excellency Kadafur Umar Usman.

The round table meeting, a courtesy call by the Borno State government, aimed to address the critical issue surrounding the demolition of the EYN LCB Moduganari, Maiduguri, Borno State.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Governor who was joined by State Commissioners, Maiduguri CAN Chairman, and the Executive Secretary of BOGIS.

The discussion focused on finding a lasting solution to the issue and exploring ways to move forward. The EYN leadership appreciates the Borno State government’s willingness to engage in dialogue and looks forward to a positive outcome.  Another meeting was scheduled as both parties agreed to resolve the issue, to foster peaceful coexistence in the state.
