The AGM provided a platform to review the bank’s progress and deliberate on strategies for sustainable growth. In his opening exhortation, the EYN President, Rev. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, PhD, drew inspiration from Matthew 25:14–20, speaking on the theme “Being Faithful Over Little.” He emphasized the importance of stewardship, accountability, and faithfulness in managing resources, urging shareholders and staff to remain committed to the vision of the bank.

Joining virtually via Zoom ,Former EYN President Rev. Joel S. Billi expressed gratitude to Rev. Dr. Samuel D. He also acknowledged the contributions of leaders, members, and stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to nurture the institution’s growth.

Quoting Proverbs 3:5–6, Rev. Dr. Dali encouraged staff and shareholders to entrust their work to God. He also acknowledged Hon. Amos Drambi, former Chairman of Michika Local Government Area, who once suggested that EYN establish its own microfinance bank. Furthermore, he commended subsequent EYN leaders, including Rev. Joel S. Billi and Rev. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, for building upon the foundation he laid.

In an interview, Bro. Ayuba U. Balami, EYN Director of Finance, described Brethren Microfinance Bank as one of the fastest-growing and most productive microfinance institutions in Nigeria. He praised the pioneering efforts of Mr. Samaila Sa’adu, Mr. Samuel Yohanna, and Mr. Istifanus A.
