FCS Mubi Base Hosts 2025 Decentralized State Conference at EYN Headquarters Kwarhi
The 2025 Decentralized State Conference (Mubi Centre) of the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) was successfully held at the EYN Headquarters in Kwarhi, Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa State, from July 31 to August 3, 2025. The event, which coincided with the end of the third school term, brought together Christian students from various schools and backgrounds across the region.
With the theme “Arrows in God’s Quiver”, drawn from Psalm 127:4-5, the conference was a spiritually enriching experience, emphasizing the biblical view of children as vital instruments in the hands of a mighty warrior—God. The atmosphere was filled with worship, teaching, fellowship, and purposeful engagement, aimed at sharpening the faith and vision of young Christians.
A Time of Connection and Spiritual Growth
FCS Mubi Training Secretary, Albino Bukar, highlighted the significance of the conference as a platform for students to bond, build relationships, and foster a sense of community. According to him, the fellowship’s primary aim is to empower students with a deeper understanding of their faith while equipping them to navigate life’s complexities.
“The fellowship is aimed at empowering students with a deeper understanding of their faith and equipping them to navigate life’s challenges,” Mr. Bukar said. “It also helps them realize the importance of seeking God’s guidance in all aspects of life.”
Through diverse activities, students were challenged to reflect on their identity in Christ and the intentional steps needed to become vessels God can trust and use.
Words that Stirred Hearts
The guest minister for the occasion, Apostle Marwa P. Tumba, from Fire House Revival Center Ministries, Yola, delivered powerful insights on spiritual growth and the role of young people in God’s kingdom. He emphasized that, like arrows in a warrior’s hand, children are potential tools for divine assignments.
“Christ is looking for young people who are willing to become vessels,” he said. “To be useful for God, one must be refined, obedient, and fully surrendered.”
His message underscored that becoming a vessel that God honors is not accidental—it is a deliberate, sacrificial process.
“Unless a man submits himself to God’s dealings and stays with Him long enough to be refined, he cannot accurately bear or represent God,” Apostle Tumba added.
Voices of Impact
Many students testified to the life-transforming nature of the teachings. They expressed how the theme opened their eyes to their identity as God’s arrows—meant to fulfill His purpose on earth.
“We were taught that we must be born again and live in obedience to God’s word,” one student shared. “To be arrows in God’s hands means we must be willing to go where He sends us and fight the battles He chooses.”
Another participant added,
“The teaching was not just motivating; it was a call to action. We learned that God wants to shoot us into the world to make a difference—but we must first be straight, sharp, and available for His use.”
A Call to Remain in God
As the conference drew to a close, a resounding message echoed in the hearts of all present: to glorify God, one must remain in Him. The path to becoming a vessel of honor is rooted in surrender, obedience, and spiritual growth. The call is clear—God is seeking young arrows, vessels of honor, refined and ready to be launched against the gates and powers of darkness.
May God help this generation of students to glorify Him, remain rooted in Him, and be the arrows He uses to fulfill His divine purpose on earth.
