In a heartwarming act of compassion, members of EYN LCCS N02 Garkida, DCC Garkida have blessed a struggling crippled woman, Mrs. Grace Joshua, with a motorcycle to ease her transportation challenges to church.

The surprise presentation took place during a special Sunday service, leaving Mrs. Joshua overwhelmed with gratitude. For some time, she had faced difficulties traveling to church, yet her commitment and dedication to attending services faithfully greatly inspired members of the congregation.

Speaking during the presentation, the Resident Pastor, Rev. Dika Yusuf, said the gesture was simply an act of obedience to God’s command to care for those in need. He noted that Mrs. Joshua’s perseverance despite her challenges moved the church to demonstrate God’s love in a practical way.

“We only did what the Lord instructs us to do in His Word—to look after those who are in need,” Rev. Yusuf said. Quoting from the Bible, he referenced Matthew 25:40, where Jesus says, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

The motorcycle is expected to greatly ease Mrs. Joshua’s movement to church and enable her to continue participating actively in the life and service of the congregation. Church leaders also expressed their commitment to continue supporting her and other members of the community who may be facing similar challenges.
