With 7,309 registered members, EYN DCC Futu, Michika LGA, dedicates a New Secretariat on Friday, 7, March 2025. This is a testament that the EYN – Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, continues to experience remarkable growth as a whole. This milestone marks a new chapter in the spiritual and administrative development of the church, as EYN DCC Futu rises as a beacon of faith, unity and dedication within the EYN family.

The grand event, held at the DCC Headquarters in LCC Vwa, was graced by the EYN President, Rev. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, PhD, alongside other distinguished leaders of the Church including Rev. James K. Musa, EYN General Secretary, Rev. Daniel I. Yamuna, Director of Education, Mrs. Hassana Habu, Director of Women Ministry and Rev. John Wada Zambua, Director of Audit & Compliance.
In his address, President Mbaya commended the tireless efforts of the people of Futu, recognizing their unwavering prayers and unrelenting support for the EYN leadership. He particularly applauded DCC Futu for overcoming financial hurdles and achieving a sustainable and progressive standing within the Church, noting that the days of a Nil balance for the DCC are now a thing of the past.

“This is a true reflection of the commitment of EYN members in Futu to the growth and sustainability of our Church,” President Mbaya declared. “The dedication of this Secretariat is not just an achievement for DCC Futu but a blessing to the entire EYN family. May God continue to bless this congregation and the EYN Church as a whole.”
Following his remarks, President Mbaya led a powerful prayer session, invoking divine blessings upon the congregation and the wider EYN community nationwide. He then officially dedicated the Secretariat, a building constructed through the hard work, unity, and financial commitment of EYN members in DCC Futu.

Rev. James Dahiru, the DCC Secretary of Futu, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the EYN leadership for honoring their invitation and witnessing firsthand the dedication and zeal of the people of Futu. “Today, history has been made! The visit of EYN Leaders to Futu is not just an event; it is a historic moment that will be remembered for generations,” Rev. Dahiru remarked. He highlighted the joy felt by EYN members who were able to see and even personally greet the esteemed leaders of the Church.

Looking ahead, the leadership and members of DCC Futu remain committed to further strengthening the spiritual and administrative structures of the Church, ensuring that the legacy of faith, service, and growth continues to flourish.
