Three-day intensive training strengthens sub-group leaders with evangelism and leadership skills for effective ministry

The DCC Maisandari has successfully conducted the 2025 Evangelism Step-Down Training, aimed at equipping sub-group leaders with vital leadership and evangelistic skills to advance the Great Commission.

The three-day training, held from October 2nd to 4th, 2025, brought together sub-group leaders across DCC Maisandari to learn from experienced ministers of the Gospel.

Delivering the welcome address on behalf of the DCC Secretary, the DCC Treasurer urged participants to maximize the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge that would benefit the body of Christ and enhance their service in the church.

A highlight of the event was the introduction and demonstration of the Gospel Card by Evangelist Ishaku M. Ndriyiza, who taught participants how to effectively use it as a tool for evangelism.

Key sessions during the training included:

  • “The Leader God Uses”Joshua 1:1–9, delivered by Evangelist Ishaku M. Ndriyiza, emphasizing lessons from Joshua’s life and leadership.

  • “The Importance of Discipleship and Follow-Up”Matthew 16:15–18, taught by Evangelist Silas B. Ijai, stressing Jesus’ model of discipleship and the importance of consistent follow-up.

  • “Following Up Jesus Christ” — by Evangelist Ishaku M. Ndriyiza, focusing on building believers’ commitment to Christ and effective follow-up ministry.

The training aims to build and strengthen believers toward fulfilling the Great Commission by nurturing new converts, developing leadership potential, and cultivating godly character that reflects the image of Christ in the church.
