The Secretary of DCC Jos, Rev. Yohanna Apagu, has commenced an official tour of Local Church Branches (LCBs) within the DCC, beginning with EYN LCB Mangu under EYN LCC Utan.
The visitation exercise, which started on Tuesday, is designed to facilitate the completion of the TEKAN data sheet for proper documentation of the spread and presence of EYN congregations across Plateau State and within the DCC structure. The initiative is also aimed at strengthening fellowship among members while encouraging renewed commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and church growth.
During the visit, Rev. Apagu — who also serves as TEKAN Vice Chairman in Plateau State and a Director in Christian Association of Nigeria — held discussions with selected church members and inspected the permanent site of the church branch.
He further offered prayers for the congregation, the leadership of the church, and the continued growth of God’s work in the area.
Members of the church expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as timely and encouraging. They also reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the mission of the church and strengthening Christian fellowship within the community.
The DCC Secretary was accompanied during the visitation by the DCC Minutes Clerk and Evangelist Kefas Usman.
The tour is expected to continue across other Local Church Branches within the DCC in the coming days as church leaders intensify efforts toward accurate documentation, evangelism, and spiritual development.
