In the voice of Rev. James K. Musa, EYN General Secretary, who spoke with EYN news after a Capacity building workshop tagged “Competent DCC Secretaries in the 21st Century“, the workshop has been very productive.
The 4 days thoughtful session held at the Church’s National Headquarters, Kwarhi, Hong LGA, Adamawa State, was organized to all EYN District Secretaries by the EYN Administrative Block, led by the Rev. James K. Musa, General Secretary and Rev. Timta L. Musa, Administrative Secretary.
Some of the DCC Secretaries expressed their enthusiasm for the re-activation and restart of the DCC Secretaries Meeting/workshop with the leadership.Rev. Gideon W. ljumdia , DCC Gashala added that the workshop is “interesting”, he continued, “the Health Talk serves as a wake up Call for the DCC Secretaries to be mindful of their wellbeing as it is paramount. We thank the Leadership for organising such a workshop.”
Rev. Matthew M. Yunana, DCC Secretary Jalingo, described the meeting as “remarkable” and emphasizing its paramount importance. He noted that such gatherings have been absent for many years, and their return is crucial for the church’s well-being. “The workshop bridges communication gaps and prevents administrative collapse, particularly vital for a rapidly growing church like EYN”.
As one of the coveners, Rev. Amb. Timta L. Musa, Admin Sec. expressed his joy with the outcome of the workshop.
