EYN Church Autonomy
The journey of EYN church autonomy recorded another milestone as the twin Local Church Boards (LCBs) of Talagu and Dutse officially gained independence from Local Church Council (LCC) Pemi No. 1 under District Church Council (DCC) Mbalala on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

The historic transition was officiated by the EYN Spiritual Adviser, Rev. Ezra Dawui, who led the ceremony with reverence and joy, declaring the congregations fully mature to manage their spiritual and administrative responsibilities.

Delivering a powerful sermon, the EYN Administrative Secretary, Rev. Ambassador Luka M. Timta, emphasized the importance of peace, unity, and collective growth in Christ. His message deeply resonated with the audience, encouraging the newly autonomous churches to remain committed to harmony and service.

The event attracted a large turnout of church leaders, elders, members, and community representatives, all present to celebrate the granting of autonomy. The celebration featured Kibaku cultural dances, prayers of thanksgiving, and the official presentation of certificates of autonomy to the two congregations.

This development further demonstrates EYN’s commitment to empowering its local churches, strengthening spiritual maturity, and promoting sustainable growth across its districts through church autonomy.
