EYN Church Condemns Killing of UNIJOS Student Ibrahim Pilasar Mbaya, Demands Justice

The Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN) has condemned the gruesome killing of  University of Jos (UNIJOS) student, Late Ibrahim Plasar Mbaya, Son of EYN  Pastor Pilasar Mbaya, describing the incident as evil, barbaric, and unacceptable.

The Church expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and called on security agencies to ensure that all those responsible for the crime are brought to justice.

EYN acknowledged the swift action of security agencies in apprehending three suspects in connection with the killing and expressed hope that a thorough investigation would lead to justice for the victim and his family.

The Church also condemned the reported inaction of individuals who allegedly watched the attack without making efforts to intervene or seek help, urging citizens to uphold the sanctity of human life and act responsibly in times of distress.

Furthermore, EYN called on members of the public to shun jungle justice and allow the law to take its full course, emphasizing that justice must be pursued through lawful and peaceful means.
