The EYN Church has called on its members to be security conscious and vigilant in the face of rising insecurity in the country. This follows the recent incident in Gwoza and other parts of the nation.

In a circular sent to all DCCs, LCCs, programs, and institutions, the General Secretary, Rev. James K. Musa, urged members to watch and pray as enjoined in the Holy Scripture. He also advised them to be mindful of their movement and avoid crowded areas.

The church appealed to its members to be vigilant, especially in their worship centers and institutions, and to report any suspicious activities to the authorities.

The message, signed by Rev.  Musa on behalf of the EYN management, ended with prayers of peace and protection, saying “May God protect you now and always.”
