Asinamai Ndai, B. Pharm., M.S., a distinguished alumnus of EYN Comprehensive Secondary School, has been named one of three 2024 Quality Improvement Champions by the American Society of Hematology (ASH)
This prestigious award recognizes Ndai’s outstanding contributions to improving hemophilia care, particularly in the emergency department.
According to UF Pharmaceutical Outcomes News, Ndai, a graduate student in the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, received the award at the ASH annual meeting in San Diego, held from December 7-10. During the conference, he also presented his groundbreaking work on optimized management of hemophilia in the emergency department.
His achievement testifies the strong foundation he received during his time at EYN Comprehensive Secondary School. His dedication to improving healthcare outcomes, particularly for individuals with hemophilia, is a shining example of the school’s commitment to nurturing talented and compassionate individuals. Ndai’s work has focused on implementing a continuous quality improvement initiative for individuals with hemophilia, a relatively rare condition that presents unique challenges in the emergency room. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, Ndai has helped reduce delays in providing patients with life-saving factor replacement therapy.
The EYN Comprehensive Secondary School community is proud to celebrate Ndai’s achievement, which serves as a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence and its impact on the global community
E. Y. N is moving forward to the glory of God through his servants, I pray for more blessings from God for them to continue and take the church of God to the standard He (God) want it to reach in Jesus name.
