EYN President Charges Students with Godly Values for Success
In his keynote speech, the EYN President, Rev. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, PhD, inspired both the graduating and continuing students with words rooted in faith and discipline. He advised the graduates to shun the patterns of the world and embrace godly living as the true path to lasting success.

He further unveiled exciting developments for the school: plans to renovate the CSS burnt hostel, complete the roofing of the school chapel, and renovate the library—promises that signal strong and unwavering support from the EYN leadership. Rev. Mbaya praised the school management for their commitment and assured the audience of continued backing from the church.
“We are committed to seeing CSS Kwarhi regain and even exceed its former glory,” he said.
Wisdom for a Changing World: Guest Speaker Urges Smart Study Culture
Delivering the guest lecture on the theme “Building Effective Study in Contemporary Challenges”, Dr. Shua John Ndrautayou of the Federal Polytechnic Mubi emphasized the need for adaptable learning techniques in an ever-changing academic landscape. His presentation, grounded in research and experience, challenged students to be disciplined and proactive in their educational journey.

The event also marked a full-circle moment for Arc. Dogara H. Durkwa, the Chairman of the occasion and an alumnus of CSS Kwarhi (Class of 2006), who now serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Community Mobilization to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State.
“Stepping into CSS is not just a return to familiar soil; this is a full-circle moment—one that tugs deeply at my heartstrings,” he said.

To the graduates, he delivered a powerful message:
“Freedom is not free. The world will offer you shortcuts and glitter but remember—opportunity often comes disguised as temporary defeat.”
Arc. Dogara also called on the EYN Leadership to give CSS Alumni a formal seat on the school’s Board, a request that was granted on the spot by the EYN President—further solidifying alumni involvement in the school’s growth.
Voices of Leadership: Support and Vision
Mr. Mwajim A. Dibal, the Principal of CSS, expressed gratitude to the EYN Leadership and the Directorate of Education for their trust. He pledged to work diligently toward restoring the school’s legacy of excellence.
The EYN Director of Education, Rev. Daniel I. Yumuna, applauded the school’s efforts, congratulated award-winning students, and commended the dedication of the teaching staff. In his speech, he also acknowledged the major infrastructural renovations already underway, noting that CSS is poised for a new chapter of educational impact.
