The EYN DCC Gombi hosted its End-of-the-Year Love Feast at the DCC office, bringing together pastors—both serving and retired—for a time of reflection, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. The event featured an inspiring message from Rev. Mustapha Kuchofe, who charged pastors to embrace true leadership as they prepare to enter a new year. He emphasized four key areas including the importance of leadership in guiding God’s people, reflecting on achievements and challenges of the outgoing year, strengthening fellowship and unity among pastors and remaining committed to spiritual growth and guidance

The guest minister, Rev. Yakubu Dogo Dingai from LCCN 2 Gombi, centered his sermon on being a good shepherd. He highlighted essential qualities such as leading with love and compassion, nurturing the flock, serving sacrificially, and living as an example worthy of imitation. His message resonated deeply with the pastors in attendance.

A prayer session was led by Rev. Babangida of ECWA Church, committing the ministers and their ministries to God.

The DCC Chairman, Rev. Joel Mutha, chaired the program and expressed appreciation to both retired and serving pastors for their tireless contributions to the growth and stability of the DCC.

In his closing remarks, Rev. Mustapha Kuchofe commended Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mabaya, PhD, for his exemplary relationship with Gombi DCC and especially for proposing the establishment of the Brethren University in the Gombi Local Government Area—a development widely welcomed by church members.

The gathering concluded with a joyful time of dining and fellowship as pastors celebrated their unity as co-laborers in the vineyard of God. Prayers were also offered for EYN and for Nigeria, marking a hopeful end to the year.
