The Synod 2026 of Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN) DCC Uba has been officially declared open, marking the beginning of a four-day spiritual gathering scheduled to run from February 25–28, 2026. The opening ceremony took place at about 5:00 p.m., drawing members from all nine churches under DCC Uba in a powerful display of unity and faith.

The annual synod is designed to strengthen the spiritual lives of believers through sound biblical teaching, fellowship, and prayer. This year’s event is centered on the EYN 2026 theme, “Obey to Prosper,” drawn from Deuteronomy 29:1–9. The theme aligns with the broader vision of the church to encourage total obedience to God as the foundation for spiritual and holistic prosperity.

Members of EYN DCC Uba gathered in large numbers, demonstrating their commitment to revival and spiritual growth. The guest preacher, Rev. Ephraim Ibrahim Kadala, is ministering throughout the synod, delivering messages aimed at inspiring believers to live in obedience to God’s Word. His teachings are expected to emphasize faithfulness, submission to God’s will, and the blessings attached to covenant obedience.

In addition to the main sermons, the Synod 2026 features specialized teachings from three different facilitators on key areas of Christian living and development. These include:

  1. Christian and Giving – highlighting biblical principles of generosity, stewardship, and sacrificial giving.
  2. Christian Family – addressing the importance of godly homes, strong marriages, and biblical parenting.
  3. Christian Entrepreneurship – equipping believers with practical and spiritual insights on running businesses with integrity and faith.

These sessions are structured to provide both spiritual and practical guidance, ensuring that participants leave empowered to apply biblical values in their personal lives, families, and economic activities.

With hearts united under the theme “Obey to Prosper,” the EYN family in DCC Uba stands together in faith, trusting God for a successful and impactful Synod 2026.
