In an exciting pre-inauguration friendly football match, held today at the EYN Comprehensive Secondary School (CSS) Kwarhi local stadium, EYN FC emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Flying Shamrock Hildi.
The highly anticipated match, which took place on May 31, 2024, saw EYN FC dominate the game, scoring two goals within 90 minutes. The Flying Shamrock Hildi team put up a good fight but ultimately failed to score.
The EYN President, Rev Dr. Daniel YC Mbaya, was in attendance and expressed his delight at the match. He promised to be supportive of EYN FC, congratulating the team on their impressive win.
The event was well-attended by EYN Principal officers, past and present EYN Directors, EYN DCC Secretaries and hundreds of Guest/supporters from various locations, including Biu, Jos, Taraba, Chibok, Mbalwaha, Gashala, Hildi, Mararaba Mubi, Wamdeo, Maiduguri, Marama, Mubi, Uba, Kwarhi, and many other parts of the country.
