EYN Recieves Another Blessing of A New Vehicle
The Rural Health Programme (RHP) of EYN is celebrating a significant milestone with the acquisition of a brand-new Toyota Yaris vehicle. The vehicle will be assigned to the EYN Comprehensive Health Care Kwarhi, otherwise known as the EYN Dispensary.
The vehicle was dedicated by Rev. James K. Musa, EYN General Secretary who used the occasion to challenge the staff of the Rural Health Department to remain steadfast in their commitment to accountability and excellence. “Let this car be a symbol of your hard work and an example to others,” he urged, encouraging them to lead by example in all their transactions and responsibilities.
This development marks a notable achievement in the department’s commitment to self-sufficiency, accountability, and enhanced service delivery. Mrs. Rifkatu H. Tarfa, the Head of Department Rural Health Programme, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the President, Rev. Daniel Y.C Mbaya, PhD, his cabinet, and the entire church leadership for fostering an atmosphere of transparency, competence, and accountability, which has empowered the department to reach this milestone.
In her statement, Mrs. Tarfa proudly disclosed that, “The Toyota Yaris was bought from the money solely generated by the Department.” She further noted that this is a clear example of what is possible when there is dedication, vision, and prudent management of resources.
This acquisition is expected to significantly boost the department’s outreach capabilities, especially in rural areas where transportation challenges often hinder effective healthcare delivery.
