Thousands of members, church leaders, and well-wishers gathered today as EYN LCC Uba No. 2 held a successful send-forth service in honor of Rev. & Mrs. Bulus Danladi Jau, the outgoing Resident Pastor and DCC Uba Chairman.
Rev. Bulus Danladi Jau was transferred from EYN LCC Uba No. 2 to EYN LCC Mararaba following five years of service in the station. The transfer aligns with the customary practice of EYN – Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, which periodically transfers pastors who have served for five years in a location, unless otherwise decided by the church leadership.
In his farewell address, Rev. Jau quoted Acts 20:17-31, reflecting on faithfulness, commitment, and the responsibility of shepherding God’s people with humility and integrity.
Members of the congregation expressed gratitude for the spiritual growth, leadership stability, and pastoral care experienced during the couple’s tenure. The service concluded with prayers, words of encouragement, and blessings for Rev. & Mrs. Jau as they prepare to continue their ministry at EYN LCC Mararaba.
