The EYN Leadership attended the funeral service of the late Rev. Joel Palpa at EYN LCC Guvan DCC Bikama. Rev. Palpa, who was 56 years old, was laid to rest amidst an outpouring of tributes and condolences.
During the funeral service, EYN President Rev. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, PhD, encouraged the family of the deceased to hold onto God during this difficult moment of loss. President Mbaya also comforted the entire EYN family with words of solace derived from Psalm 90:12.
The President expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all the ministers present at the funeral service. Furthermore, he called on EYN pastors to always show kindness to widows and orphans in their communities. President Mbaya also challenged the pastors to prioritize their health and well-being, emphasizing the importance of eating on time and taking care of their physical health.
The President offered a powerful prayer for the family of the deceased and for the entire EYN family.
In addition, Vice President Rev. Nuhu Muttah Abba delivered a powerful sermon, reading from John 11:25-26.
May God almighty continue to comfort the deceased family and EYN ministers in Jesus name, AMEN
