The EYN President, Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, PhD, has congratulated the newly appointed traditional rulers in Adamawa State. The rulers, appointed by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, include two emirs and five chiefs.
In a letter signed by the Church’s General Secretary Rev. James K. Musa, President Mbaya applauded the Chiefs for their well deserved appointment urging them to be dedicated committed to public service.
“Your appointment is a testament of your unwavering commitment and dedication to public service and to the people you represent. We are certain that you will continue to serve and empower your subjects, Adamawa State and the entire nation.”
The President thanked His Excellency Governor Ahmad Umaru Fintiri and the Adamawa State House of Assembly for listening to the concerns of their people, expressing the EYN Leadership’s support for the Adamawa State government’s efforts to foster peace and unity.
The newly appointed Chiefs include Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu as Emir of Fufore, Alhaji Ahmadu Saibaru as Emir of Maiha, Alheri Nyako, Tol Huba (Hong Chiefdom), Professor Bulus Luka Gadiga, Mbege Ka Michika (Michika Chiefdom), Dr. Ali Danburam, Ptil Madagali (Madagali Chiefdom), Aggrey Ali, Kumu of Gombi (Gombi Chiefdom) and John Dio, Gubo Yungur (Yungur Chiefdom).
