In an unplanned turn of events, Rev. Hassan Abdul Mohammed, the COCIN Muslim Evangelism Coordinator, along with his wife Deborah and Evang. Dunguwa Altine from Faith Alive, generously donated a selection of clothing, soap, toothpaste, and other essential items to the disciples at the Brethren Discipleship Center in Jos.
Rev. Mohammed wexpressed his positivism in the centers effort in molding the lives of the disciples. He added that EYN Church are on track with establishing the center as it will go a long way in the life of converts not only in EYN or TEKAN but globally.
The atmosphere became electric as Rev. Adamu Ndirbula, the coordinator at the Brethren Discipleship Center , warmly welcomed the EYN leadership to the newly acquired Discipleship Center in Jos, worth ove 40 million naira. Three of his Staff members at the Center, Rev. Atiyawa Yakubu, Evang. Suleiman Moddibo and Evang. Usman Yusuf beamed with anticipation, their faces reflecting the collective excitement.
Today was historic at the newly acquired Brethren Discipleship Center in Jos as members of the EYN National Standing Committee visled to give support to both staff and disciples at the Center.
During a brief introductory meeting at the Center, Rev. Evang. Musa D. Mbaya, Director of Evangelism & Church Growth, radiated gratitude as he expressed his heartfelt joy at being present. “This visit is a testament to God’s divine plan,” he said, invoking blessings upon the attendees. With tender emphasis, he reminded the disciples that humility is the cornerstone of discipleship.
“Your presence here is not by coincidence, but by God’s design,” Rev. Mbaya urged, his voice filled with conviction. “Stay steadfast on the right path, for your journey’s conclusion holds eternal significance.” He encouraged the staff to embrace patience and teamwork, nurturing the disciples as they embark on this transformative journey.
Representing EYN President Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, PhD, Rev. Amb. Timta L. Musa’s words resonated deeply. “Only God’s divine power can unite diverse tribes into a harmonious family,” he said, his eyes shining with emotion. “Fix your gaze upon Jesus Christ, the ultimate authority and perfecter of our faith.”
As Rev. Amb. Musa spoke, the weight of the nation’s economic turmoil hung in the air. Yet, he offered a reminder: “No earthly possession surpasses the invaluable gift of salvation.
In this sacred moment, leaders and disciples alike were united in their quest for spiritual growth. Tones of joy, gratitude, and hope mingled as the EYN leadership and Brethren Discipleship Center family embraced a brighter future together.
