The EYN National Women Fellowship Zumuntan Mata successfully held its 62nd annual convention, Majalisa, from March 26-29, 2025, at the EYN Headquarters in Kwarhi. This year’s theme, “Fear God and keep his commands” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14), guided the four-day gathering.
During the convention, the ZME General Election was conducted, and the results are as follows:
– Director: Mrs. Martha D. David from Garkida Zone emerged as the winner with 92 votes.
– Deputy Director: Na’omi Philemond from Mubi Zone secured the position with 73 votes.
– Treasurer: Ziporah Sunday of Mubi Zone emerged as the winner with 84 votes.
– Financial Secretary: Grace Jesse from Uba Zone won the position with 68 votes.
– Secretary: Grace Ezekiel from Michika Zone secured the position with 92 votes.
– Choir Mistress: Esther Peter from Michika Zone was nominated for the role.
