Maiduguri, Borno State – Tragedy struck the EYN community today, as Rev. Vincent Alaku, Resident Pastor of EYN LCC Moduganari, DCC Maiduguri, suddenly collapsed and passed away during a child naming and dedication ceremony.
According to reports gathered by EYNNews, Rev. Alaku was holding the microphone when he collapsed. He was rushed to his office, where he died before medical attention could be administered.
The cause of Rev. Alaku’s death remains unknown, pending further details, however, the entire EYN community has been thrown into mourning, with church members taking to social media to express their shock and condolences to the immediate family.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
