EYN President Calls  Ministers, Delegates to Replicate Christ Ahead of 77th Majalisa – Mbursa Jinatu

The President of the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN) has issued a strong call to all ministers and delegates attending the upcoming 77th Majalisa to replicate the teachings and actions of Christ in their own lives and ministries. Speaking with the EYN Media on Monday 15 April, 2024, the President emphasized the importance of embodying the values of love, compassion, and humility that were central to Christ’s message.
“I call on all clerics, delegates invited guest and the entireEYN members all over the Nation and beyond, to come together in terms of prayes, calling unto God to come and take totalpre-eminence over the 77th Majalisa so that all our deliberations, decisions, policies and report will be in an aminicable, peaceful and tranquility without rancoror matching on each other’s toes. By So doing, God will bless us collectively and individually “.
As the EYN prepares for this significant gathering where 4 principal officers will come on board to take over the mantle of leadershi, the President urged all participants to prioritize unity, reconciliation, and service to others.
“I want us to act as the children of our Savior Jesus Christ, though we might differ in opinion but it shouldn’t make us to punch each other’s nose or hate one another. Whoever emerges our President, Vice president, General Secretary, new directors, let’s embrace all of them and treat them as our leaders and give them total Support. It is my fervent prayer that we are going to have a smooth transition that will be according to the will of God. Forturate enough this year’s theme is Following in footsteps of Jesus Christ. Let us be replica of Jesus Christ”.
