As part of efforts to strengthen relationships and seek collaborative support for mission work and to help combat the ongoing insurgent attacks on citizens of Chibok, Lassa, Madagali, Hong and Gulak area who are predominantly christians, a delegation from the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, popularly known in hausa, Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria, led by the Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, PhD, EYN President paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Paul Enenche, the General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, at the Glory Dome in Abuja.
The EYN delegation included Vice President Rev. Nuhu Mutah Abba and General Secretary Rev. James K. Musa, along with other Church leaders. The visit came shortly after the inauguration of EYN’s Investment and Resource Mobilisation Committees earlier that day at EYN Utako.
Dr. Enenche, the General Overseer of Dunamis, who warmly welcomed the delegation, expressed deep appreciation for the visit despite the short notice. He explained that he would have loved to spend more time with the EYN leadership but was heavily engaged in the ongoing Destiny Recovery Conference.
Dr Enenche, in his remarks explained that the EYN Church are a strong testament of a resilient church who have keep their faith despite vigourous persecution in their region.
“The world needs to know what the Church especially EYN has gone through as a result of insurgency and religious persecution,” Dr. Enenche said. “Your resilience is a testimony of the enduring power of faith, and I’m committed to partnering with you in areas where we can work together.”
He further promised to explore opportunities for collaboration in mission work, humanitarian support, and advocacy for persecuted Christians.
In his remarks, Rev. Mbaya thanked Dr. Enenche for his encouragement and spiritual leadership, noting that the visit was part of EYN’s ongoing mission to build alliances for Kingdom advancement and national healing.
The visit ended with a time of prayer and mutual blessings, marking a renewed bond of fellowship between the two ministries.
