Lagos Nigeria – The EYN Vice President, Rev. Nuhu Mutah Abba paid a courtesy visit to the West African Theological Seminary (WATS), Lagos on Sunday evening, November 3, 2024. The visit came on the heels of the autonomy of EYN Eleko, officiated by EYN President, Rev. Dr. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, PhD.
Rev. Prof. Dauda Andrawus Gava, Provost of WATS, warmly welcomed the Vice President, who was on a familiarization tour of the seminary. The Vice President’s visit aimed to interact with EYN students and assess the institution’s facilities.
During his tour, the Vice President inspected the seminary’s state-of-the-art classrooms and facilities, which meet international standards. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to excel academically and serve as worthy ambassadors of EYN.
The Student Council President, PST. Ali Andrawus, and EYN Students Leader, PST. Idi Zakariya, expressed gratitude for the Vice President’s visit, which boosted the students’ morale. They appreciated knowing they have supportive leaders and “parents” at the EYN Headquarters.
Prof. Gava thanked the Vice President for carving out time from his busy schedule to visit WATS, describing the visit as a significant morale-booster for the students
The visit underscores EYN’s commitment to nurturing future leaders and strengthening partnerships with Theological Institutions.
