On the 6th of February 2025, the E Y N women ministry held an interview at DCC Uba secretariat, to empower participants which consist of orphans, young widows, and vulnerable individuals for the Tailoring Skills Acquisition program.
The participants coverers five DCCs, which includes Uba, Hildi, Yawa, Mishara, and Rumirgo. Six (6) participants were selected from each DCC with five (5) out of 30 participants being male.
According to Mrs Hassana Habu, the program director “The goal of women ministry is empowering young individuals with the skills, Confidence and mindset necessary to succeed in their personal and professional lives. Therefore, the tailoring skills acquisition program is open to young widows, and vulnerable individuals between the ages of 18-35 years.
