Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (AUF), has called on the EYN National Standing Committee (NSC) to partner with his government in rebuilding and restoring communities devastated by insurgency.

The governor made the appeal on Tuesday 11, 2024 during a thank-you visit by the EYN NSC led by Rev. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, PhD, EYN President, for honoring the Church’s Inauguration Service held by 1st June 2024.
Rt. Hon. Fintiri emphasized the need for collective efforts to rebuild the affected communities, stating that “we must fold our sleeves and work together to restore the sanctity of our communities.
He commended the EYN NSC for their efforts in promoting peace and unity in the state and expressed his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives that foster development, reconciliation and rehabilitation.
Rev. Mbaya, in his response, appreciated the governor’s gesture and assured him of EYN’s willingness to collaborate with the state government in rebuilding and restoring hope to the affected communities.
He equally appealed to the Governor to ensure peaceful, free, fair and credible elections during the upcoming local government elections in the state.
The visit marked a significant step towards strengthening the partnership between the Adamawa State government and EYN Church in promoting peace, rebuilding communities, and restoring the dignity of the affected populations.
