The EYN – Church of the Brethren in Nigeria has officially begun the construction of three new guest chalets at its National Headquarters in Kwarhi. The groundbreaking ceremony, held today, brought together the EYN leadership, members of the National Standing Committee, and staff of the EYN Headquarters in a moment of shared vision and commitment.

At the ceremony, the EYN President, Rev. Dr. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, PhD, drew inspiration from Psalm 127, emphasizing that unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. He encouraged the gathering with an uplifting message: “With God, all things are possible.”
The chalet project is being funded through the generous support of three distinguished sons of EYN, who are redeeming pledges made during the 78th Majalisa, held from 8th to 11th April, 2024:
-
Senator Rev. Amos Yohanna, representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone
-
Hon. Zakaria Dauda Nyampa, Member of the House of Representatives for Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency
-
Hon. Kudla Satumari Haske, philanthropist and friend of the church
These chalets will enhance EYN’s capacity to host guests, conferences, and delegations, reinforcing its role as a spiritual and administrative hub.

This project not only reflects the church’s growth but also symbolizes unity, faith, and a shared vision for excellence in service and hospitality.
