On April 15, 2025, Unknown Gun Men attacked Banga and Larh communities in Adamawa State killing six people and leaving a young boy missing.
A police van was destroyed, but occupants escaped unharmed. 
An undetonated bomb was discovered, prompting calls for urgent intervention. Residents expressed frustration over the lack of adequate security presence. The attack also left several buildings, including the EYN Church LCB Larh LCC Garaha DCC Hong, burnt completely.
