In the spirit of the upcoming Christmas celebration, the Directorate of Disaster Relief and Management (DRM) has spread joy and cheer to the Headquarters staff, vulnerable individuals in Mararaba, Kwagwan and retirees residing with the HQtrs environment with a generous donation of 25 kg of rice, oil Maggi and salt

This kind gesture is a shows the DRM’s commitment to caring for the well-being of others, especially during the festive season. The gifts were distributed to the recipients with a warm smile and a message of hope and joy at the Departments warehouse in the EYN Headquarters and distributed some to residents especially the church’s retirees.
The HQ staff, who were the first to receive the gifts, were overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation, as today also marks salary day with additional Christmas bonuses from the Leadership.. “This is a wonderful surprise,” said one staff member. “It’s a reminder that this is actually a festive period and a time to give said the other,”

“This shows unity, love and that our hard work is appreciated.”
Some the vulnerable individuals and neighbors, who were also beneficiaries of the DRM’s kindness, were equally thrilled. “This rice and oil will go a long way in helping us celebrate Christmas with our families,” said one recipient.
Each beneficiary got a 25 kg rice, 1 lit cooking oil, 1 packet of Maggi and 1 packet of salt.
The DRM’s generosity is a shining example of the true spirit of Christmas, which is about giving, sharing, and spreading love and joy to those around us. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us remember to extend a helping hand to those in need, just like the DRM has done
