The funeral service of Late Mrs. Agness Peter Audu, who passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, was held at LCC Jigalambu, DCC Bazza, on Monday, June 24, 2024.
The EYN President, Rev. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, consoled the bereaved family, including her husband, Rev. Peter Audu, and their eight children, 37 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He lamented the recent frequent deaths of pastors and their wives within the Church, praying for God’s comfort and mercy.
Rev. Mbaya encouraged the congregation to prepare for their own death, citing Mrs. Agness’ death at 63 as a reminder that our time on earth is limited. He urged them to reflect on their lives and strive for eternal rest.
Rev. Peter Audu, the husband of the deceased, expressed his gratitude to the EYN leadership, pastors, and members for their support and prayers. He prayed that the fellowship shown to the family would extend beyond the church boundaries to others who are also in pains of losing their beloved ones.
Testimonies from family members and friends described Mrs. Agness as a kind, generous, and loving mother who had inspired many.
May her soul rest in peace.
