The President of EYN – Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, led a delegation of church leaders to pay final respects, reflecting the significance of Mama Hanatu’s life within the church.

His presence, alongside pastors, DCC leaders, and members, underscored the impact she made through decades of faithful service and quiet dedication.

Born on January 20, 1948, Mama Hanatu lived a life marked by diligence and compassion. She served in various institutions including KTS (KBC) and the General Hospital in Mubi, contributing meaningfully to both church and society.

Her life journey also took her beyond Nigeria, including a visit to Germany—an experience that broadened her perspective and enriched her life story.
