The project, aimed at improving access to clean water for healthcare services, was facilitated through a request by the EYN President and allocated by Senator Aminu Iya Abba, representing the Adamawa Central Senatorial District.

The award presentation was part of a courtesy visit by Alhaji Ibrahim Jauro Ahmadu,
Ardo of Kwarhi, and his delegation to the EYN Headquarters. The leaders expressed deep appreciation for the Church’s intervention, which has had a tangible impact on the wellbeing of patients, medical staff, and the broader Mararaba Mubi community.
“This water project was allocated by Senator Iya Abba after it was requested by the EYN President. Today, Primary Health Care Mararaba Mubi is better positioned to serve its people. We are profoundly grateful,” said the Hakimi.
Responding, Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, PhD, thanked the community for the recognition and acknowledged the Senator’s support.
“We sincerely appreciate Senator Iya Abba for responding to our request and for his concern for the welfare of his constituents. At EYN, our mission is to show Christ’s love not only to our members but also to our immediate neighbors through practical interventions like this,” he said.
The EYN President reaffirmed the Church’s commitment to community service, emphasizing that such interventions are part of its broader mission to empower host communities. He also encouraged young people to live responsibly, shunning alcohol abuse and other social vices, as part of building a future of disciplined, God-fearing leaders.
Earlier, Youth Chairman Daniel Bitrus revealed that the youth leadership plans a separate visit to the EYN President to receive counsel and guidance.
“We desire fatherly counsel that will help shape young people into responsible and God-fearing leaders,” he said.
