6Th May, 2024-EYN General Secretary, Rev. James K. Musa, set the tone for his leadership by emphasizing the importance of authenticity and integrity. During the staff morning devotion at the EYN Headquarters in Kwarhi, Adamawa State, Rev. Musa encouraged the staff to shun hypocrisy and embrace transparency in their words and actions.
He said this during a brief greetings he brought to the staff after the EYN President Rev. Dr. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya welcomed him and the Vice President Rev. Nuhu Mutah Abbah onboard as this is their first devotion after assumption of office.
“We are here to work together, let us drop all form of hypocrisy and work truthfully to God, whatever you have inside let it out, if your mind is different from your facial expression you become difficult to understand”.
Rev. Musa reminded the staff that as followers of Christ, they are called to be truthful and sincere in their dealings with others. He emphasized that hypocrisy has no place in the church and can hinder the effectiveness of their ministry.
He also seized the chance to announce that the Administrative Secretary, Rev. Luka M. Timta, will be on a one-week official sabbatical to reunite with his family before resuming to office.
The staff warmly welcomed Rev. Musa and were encouraged by his message, which resonated with the values of the EYN.
