The 37th EYN National Youth Annual conference commenced yesterday 25-28, 2024, at EYN LCC Lokuwa DCC Lokuwa Mubi, Adamawa State.
The conference, themed “Following in His Steps,” featuring Sis. Rebecca Galadima, Peace House North East, Yola, aimed to inspire and guide young people to live a Godly life and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In his keynote address, the EYN National Youth Chairman, Barr. Ephraim Ali Yidawi, who titled his speech “Let No Man Despise Your Youth”, urged the youth to shun ungodly habits and dedicate their lives to the service of the Lord. He emphasized the importance of living a life of purpose and meaning, citing biblical verses from I Samuel 17, 1 Timothy 4:12 and 1 Peter 2:21-22.
Barr. Yidawi also expressed gratitude to the EYN Vice President, Rev. Anthony A. Damsai, Host DCC Secretary, Host Pastor and others for their support and contributions to the success of the program.
The EYN Vice President Rev. Anthony Damsai who declared the convention open, offered words of wisdom to the youth, advising them to make the most of their youthful age. The conference featured various activities, Praise and worship, prayers, Teachings Bible Studies and Reflection, aimed at empowering young people to become positive change-makers in their Churches and communities
