Ordination of Rev. Solomon Mberesa at EYN LCC Nassarawo

The Ordination of Rev. Solomon Mbersa into full ministry was held on Sunday, 12th October 2025, at EYN Local Church Council (LCC) Nassarawo, under DCC Mubi. The consecration service, led by Rev. Yohanna L. Buduwara, DCC Chairman, brought together ministers, members, and dignitaries in a joyful and spirit-filled gathering.

During the message titled “Call Out,” the DCC Secretary, Rev. Johnson K. Abbi, drew his text from Isaiah 6:1–10, explaining how Prophet Isaiah encountered God and received his divine calling. He noted that many pastors engage in ministry without a personal encounter with God. Rev. Abbi emphasized that every divine call—like that of Abraham, Jeremiah, and Isaiah—has a unique purpose in God’s plan.

Ordination of Rev. Solomon Mberesa: A Charge to Serve with Integrity

In his charge, Rev. Abbi urged Rev. Mberesa to live according to 1 Timothy 3:1–7, reminding him to remain faithful to one wife, maintain moral purity, and treat women as sisters. He encouraged him to be humble, generous, and peace-loving, to preach sound doctrine, and to model godly character in all things.

He further warned against financial misconduct, advising Rev. Mbersa to manage church resources with integrity and transparency while trusting God for all provisions. The congregation was encouraged to continually pray for and support their pastor to ensure effective ministry in the vineyard of the Lord.

The Ordination of Rev. Solomon Mberesa attracted Reverends and Pastors from DCCs Lokuwa, Gi’ima, Hildi, and Sini-Kwande, as well as other denominations. The Zumuntan Matan Ekklisiya (ZME) from LCC Kwapale added a touch of beauty to the event with a melodious thanksgiving song.
