Rev. Bukar Appreciates God for Finishing Well, after Induction of 40 Prospective Ministers

Rev. Lalai Bukar, Outgoing Secretary to the Ministers Council

At the just concluded held on 4, Tuesday, 2025 – 6, Thursday, 2025 at the EYN National Headquarters brought on board 35 Prospective Full Ministers and 5 Probationary Ministers, Rev. Lalai Bukar, the outgoing Secretary to the Ministers Council, expressed his enthusiasm for the success of the induction course which mark his last activity in the office after serving a for 7 years in Office.

The secretary who appreciated God a successful also explained to EYN News that he has enjoined full support of the EYN Leadership and all ministers including some members of the Church. He also showed his utmost appreciation for encouraging words and advice given to him while in office which he described as a good motivation for growth.
Rev. Bukar also urged ministers and members of EYN to support the leadership for a progressive change and growth of the Church, while indulging to give their maximum support to the New Secretary to the Minister’s Council, Rev. Eli Samuel.

In company of the EYN National Standing Committee, EYN President Rev. Daniel Y. C. Mbaya, Ph.D., who grace the occasion expressed his delight at the growth of the church, citing the increasing number of young people joining the ministerial workforce.
The President offered words of advice to the participants, emphasizing the importance of kindness, love, and compassion. He urged them to love one another, love the Word of God, love the church, and love their families.

President Mbaya also challenged the wives of the prospective pastors to humble themselves and support their husbands in their ministerial work. He charged the prospective ministers to adhere strictly to the EYN doctrine and keep their eyes fixed on Jesus in every situation.
Some of the prospective ministers, including Solomon Yunana from EYN LCC Yola Town, Irmiya Hamido Gora from EYN LCC Thlaka, and Laraba James LCC Marama, thanked the EYN Leadership for the induction course, saying they learned a lot and appreciated the word of encouragement.
