Mado, October 19, 2025 – Members of EYN Local Church Council (LCC) Mado gathered in a joyful and emotional farewell send-off service for Rev. Yahaya Lawal, bringing together family members, friends, and well-wishers to honor his years of faithful service to the church.
During the service, the DCC Secretary, Rev. Yohanna Apagu Mdurvwa, encouraged members to cultivate the heart of giving, reminding them that “God loves a cheerful giver.” He further emphasized the importance of supporting, encouraging, and praying for one another as children of God. “When we develop the heart of giving, God opens doors and provides for us,” he stated.
The event was marked by several goodwill messages and prayers, with members expressing deep appreciation for Rev. Lawal’s dedication and impact throughout his ministry.
In his remarks, Rev. Yahaya Lawal, accompanied by his family, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the congregation for their love and support. He urged members to remain steadfast in their faith and to continue living as true ambassadors of Christ through devotion and obedience to God’s will.
