The Directorate, EYN Disaster Relief Management witnessed a smooth handing and taking today, May 9, 2024, at the EYN Headquarters in Kwarhi. Rev. Yuguda Z. Mdurvwa officially handed over to Rev. Bitrus Y. Duwara, marking a new chapter in the leadership of the critical department.
The transition event, held at the Disaster Relief Management Wing, was witnessed by the Coordinator, Disaster Relief Management, Mrs. Rhoda Isa, Accountant Sunday Husseini, Project officer, Mr. Zakariya Musa, and other departmental personnel, exemplified the organization’s dedication to continuity and advancement. Rev. Mdurvwa, who has admirably led the directorate for a decade, expressed his gratitude to God for the successful opportunity to serve. He pledged his complete support to the incoming Director, offering his valuable expertise and extensive experience as needed. Rev. Mdurvwa encouraged the departmental staff to provide unwavering support and cooperation, advising them against hindering the department’s progress by selfishly withholding information received from the District Secretaries.
Rev. Duwara reiterated the Director’s address, urging the six-person staff department to collectively work towards advancing the directorate’s mission by building upon the established foundations.
