Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, representing Adamawa Central, has donated 15 solar-powered street lights to the EYN Headquarters in Kwarhi. This donation was a fulfillment of his pledge made during the 75th General Church Council (Majalisa) of EYN in 2025.
The leadership and staff of EYN received the lights with immense joy and gratitude, recognizing the senator’s commitment to both the church and the broader Adamawa Central community. Rev. Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, PhD, President of EYN, expressed deep appreciation for the senator’s generosity, noting that the lights will enhance security and visibility around the headquarters.
This initiative is part of Senator Abbas’s broader efforts to improve infrastructure and security across Adamawa Central.
After dedication, 5 of the solar lights were installed in EYN Comprehensive Secondary School and 10 were installed at the New Principal Officer’s quarters to light the environment.
