The EYN Leadership Attended the coronation and presentation of the Staff of Office to His Royal Highness, Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga Mbege Ka Michika of Michika Chiefdom, which took place on February 20, 2025, in Michika, Michika LGA, Adamawa State.
In his speech, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency Alh. Umaru Ahmadu Fintiri, congratulated the people of Michika and charged them to continue working towards fostering peace in the society. Governor Fintiri also called on the sons and daughters of Michika to work towards bringing peace, progress, and development to their chiefdom and the entire Michika land.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri stated that the coronation was not just the presentation of the Staff of Office but “the renewal of commitment to the values, tradition, and unity that define us as a people with a common heritage.
In his acceptance speech, His Royal Majesty, Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga Mbege Ka Michika, thanked the Governor of Adamawa State for the presentation of the Staff of Office, which is the symbol of authority and responsibility. He further stated, “I accept the staff of office with full awareness and the responsibility attached to it.”

His Royal Majesty also appreciated the Governor of Adamawa State for the freedom granted to the people of Michika and the Michika Elders Forum for their support. He emphasized the importance of working with talented youth for the development of Michika Chiefdom, citing J. Boy, who sang a song of honor to His Royal Majesty during the occasion.
His Royal Majesty also called on the youth to use social media wisely to promote peace in the society. He concluded by saying, “Let us put our differences aside and work collectively to promote peace and progress in Michika Chiefdom.”
The coronation ceremony was attended by many dignitaries, including Clergy men, government top officers, governors, local government chairmen, and royal fathers.


The EYN General Secretary, Rev. James K. Musa, views the Michika Coronation as a freedom to the people of Michika. He added that this is a total liberation to the people of Michika and the entire EYN family at large. Rev. K. Musa called on His Royal Majesty to carry all people along and embrace justice in discharging his duties. He also prayed for the best for Michika Chiefdom.
The EYN Spiritual Adviser, Rev. Ezra Dawui, stated that this is God’s appointed time for the people of Michika to be liberated. He called on the entire people of Michika to work and contribute positively to the growth of Michika Chiefdom. Rev. Dawui also urged His Majesty to always stand for truth
