Women Fellowship DCC Gombi Annual Conference Ends in Joy, Spiritual Renewal, and Leadership Transition

The Women Fellowship of DCC Gombi held a vibrant and spirit-filled Annual Conference that ended on a high note of praise, joy, and renewed commitment to God’s work.

Women from all 13 LCCs and LCBs gathered at EYN 2 Gombi from December 17–20 under the inspiring theme, “Consider Your Former Ways.” The atmosphere throughout the conference was one of unity, reflection, and celebration.

The DCC Secretary, Rev. Mustapha Kuchofe, opened the event with a stirring charge, encouraging the women to live as shining examples of faith in their homes, churches, and communities. The host pastor, Rev. Samaila J. Futu, warmly welcomed participants, reminding them that their strength lies in their shared identity as one family in EYN – Church of the Brethren in Nigeria.

Adding spiritual depth to the gathering, the guest speaker, Rev. Yakubu Yaga, delivered powerful messages on obedience, drawing from the story of Abraham to show how faithfulness to God brings blessings and fulfillment. The presence of the National Leadership of ZME EYN further enriched the conference, lending it honor and significance.

Beyond the teachings, the conference was full of color and excitement. Cultural dance presentations thrilled the audience, beautifully reflecting the rich diversity and unity of the women. A new leadership team was also elected, while the outgoing leaders were warmly appreciated for their dedicated service. In gratitude for their hospitality, the host LCC received gifts in recognition of their efforts in making the event successful.

 

The conference concluded with heartfelt prayers led by the Women Leader, Mrs. Rebecca Pater, who thanked God for His protection, guidance, and the joy experienced throughout the gathering.

Indeed, the conference stood as a memorable time of  spiritual renewal, fellowship, cultural celebration, and strengthened purpose or the women of DCC Gombi.
