Yola hosts Sisters Fellowship National Convention 2025

The EYN-Church of the Brethren in Nigeria Sisters Fellowship 10th annual National convention 2025 has ended in Jimeta with a call on women to be more committed in their service to God as they run the spiritual race with perseverance.

The call was made by the sisters fellowship National Coordinator Mrs Rifkatu Edward Dikka, in a welcome address at the convention held at EYN LCC Jimeta,yola Adamawa state.

She appreciated the management and leadership of EYN in Nigeria under the leadership of Rev. Dr Daniel Y.C. Mbaya.

Declaring the convention open, the EYN vice president Rev. Nuhu Mutah Abba urged the women to concentrate on the teachings and not be distracted in any way.

In a teaching, the Principal Madu Bible College Marama, Mrs Martha Pilasar, dwelled on Hebrews chapter 12 verse 1, which talks about the theme for the conference “Running the race with perseverance; the race marked out for us “.

She advised Sisters to be ready to face all forms of trials and temptation in the Christian race, but look up to Jesus until they reach their goal.

Health talk with Nurse Priscilla Daniel Wasinda on ” Depression, its prevention and Management was also taken.

Intercessory prayers, devotion, Bible studies, songs of praise and worship all featured at the convention.

Highpoint of the 2025 Sisters Fellowship convention was the cutting of the 10th anniversary cake by the executive, Pastors wives and others.
