January 23-25, 2025. The EYN Youth Fellowship convened its 1st quarter EXCO/Council Meeting and Leadership Retreat at the EYN Headquarters in Kwarhi. The three-day gathering aimed to equip Youth Fellowship Leaders with wisdom and knowledge to effectively lead their respective DCCs and LCCs.
In his opening charge, EYN Vice President Rev. Nuhu Muttah Abba drew inspiration from Psalms 46:1-17. He encouraged the youth to shun worldly desires and hold fast to God’s will, emphasizing that trusting in God is essential to overcoming worldly challenges. Rev. Abba also challenged the youth to relinquish human wisdom and instead, embrace God in all their endeavors. The Vice President offered powerful prayers for the participants, seeking God’s guidance and blessing.
In an exclusive interview, EYN National Chairman Barr. Ephraim A. Yidawi expressed gratitude to the EYN Leadership for their unwavering support towards the growth of the EYN Youth Fellowship. He also commended EYN pastors for adhering to the church’s sound doctrine despite the numerous distractions facing the church.
Barr. Yidawi emphasized the importance of providing a platform for youths to express themselves within the church. He recommended that the church create opportunities for youths to share their ideas, allowing them to utilize their talents and gifts to serve God. By doing so, the church can empower its young members to become active participants in its mission and vision.
